A few months ago, we released the first-ever arrangements for brass quartet. Forty arrangements, of Czech and Polish tunes, to be precise. The response was incredible, and we thought, what the heck – let’s keep it going! (Drum roll, please….) So today we announce the release of the first wave of arrangements of Vitak-Elsnic music for string quartet. And to celebrate this milestone, we are selling them for JUST FIVE DOLLARS each through the end of the month. That’s less than the price of a nice glass of wine, and just think of how much longer the enjoyment will last!
The initial batch of 15 arrangements comes from Vitak-Elsnic’s Polish Collection, published between 1924 and 1944 as seven folios of Polish dance music. The folios contained not just polkas and waltzes, but also traditional Polish music including obereks, krakowiaks, kujawiaks, and mazurs. While the beat may seem familiar, the sound is uniquely Polish.

Each arrangement has instrumentation for two violins, viola, and cello, with piano accompaniment. A full score also is part of the package. We’ve provided mp3s for each of the selections in our online store, so you can actually hear how the music sounds before you buy it.
But nothing good lasts forever. So hurry on over to the store, listen to the songs, and then buy the ones you like (hopefully all of them!) at this incredible once-only introductory price of FIVE DOLLARS each. This offer ends March 31, 2018.
