Description
This selection was composed by Otto Hohmann and arranged by John Krachtus in 1934. “Whoopee” John Wilfahrt, a famous American polka band leader from the 1920-1950s period, made this waltz his theme song.
Note that the notation for this arrangement is double treble clef (no bass clef for the chords), a common notation in the early 20th century.
The full title for this tune (translated from the original German) is “Little Mary Sat Crying in the Garden.” This arrangement also has embedded German lyrics.
