Description
Soon after its founding in 1912, the Vitak-Elsnic Company began publishing Blasmusik, or music for brass band. At the core of this series of publications were dozens of original march compositions and arrangements. This beautiful old music has an indisputable charm. From our vast archival inventory, the Vitak-Elsnic Company has selected ten songs for inclusion in the Vitak-Elsnic March Book. All were composed or arranged by company founder Louis Vitak or Frantisek Kmoch, the “Bohemian March King.” Kmoch often has been compared to a contemporary, John Philip Sousa, America’s undisputed march king.
Arranged and edited by Louis Vitak and Steven D. Harris. © 2022, Vitak-Elsnic Company.
